Happy Birthday To My Mum!

Yep, it's my brilliant Mum's birthday today (she's a complete bookworm) so lots of Happy Birthday wishes (and goodies hopefully, if they've arrived) being sent from Northumberland to Sussex today!

She also loves a crossword! In other news, I'm still really busy at Storeyshop HQ so all really good. Busily cutting away as always and looking forward to a couple of exciting press features in the pipeline which I'd better keep schtum about for now (so hard!). Current wait time for hand cut orders is around a week - partly as we have a wedding to go to (yay) in the Lakes on Thursday. Here's the queue of orders waiting to be packed up for todays' post...

I Want Wednesday (on Thursday)!

This week seems to be speeding past me again and I was buried in card orders all of yesterday so here is my 'I Want' post for this week. Based in Sydney, notTuesday showcases the brilliant polymer clay creations of Rachel Wightman. I love everything about this shop; the products and titles, the colours, the shop name, the creative photographs... Enjoy!

Storeyshop Wedding Stationery

Ooh, I do love a wedding! Here's a peak at some recent papercut wedding invitations and place name cards I made for a lovely couple who got married earlier this month. The card design is laser cut from ivory cards and each invitation is lined with a printed ice blue paper inlay. The table name cards are individually hand cut from the same ivory card and have matching love hearts and the same dark blue typeface and type colour as the invitations...

I love making wedding stationery and have more photos up my sleeve of other recent commissions. Better keep them under wraps for now though. I don't want to ruin any surprises! I hope the weather cheers up by next week as we're off to a wedding in the Lake District. Can't wait!
